Welcome to our "Green" page, it is our goal to share with you our values through what we will do differently in the salon. Through this page you will see what we are currently doing to help each other and our world.

 

At Green with Envy Salon we use eco-friendly blow dryers to speed hair drying time, therefore using less energy. These dryers also have ceramic heating element, as opposed to all standard dryers that have coil heating elements. The difference is the use of electricity & output of EMF (radiation). Our hairdryer emits 4.1 mG (milligauss) of radiation. A standard 1,800 WATT dryer emits over 200.0 mG. This amount of EMF is comparable to the radiation output of a microwave. The ceramic heating element saves 40% more electricity than a standard dryer and lasts 5x longer than a coil heating element. The ceramic heating element uses 90% electricity, turning it into heat. No energy is wasted. How can we go wrong with these dryers are saving time, electricity and your health! Did we mention there are no cords to get tangled in thanks to our Freestylist System? Our dryers are suspended from the ceiling, looking chic and saving our stylists serious long term neck and shoulder issues. 

 

Another important concern in our salon is to keep it clean using only, natural non- toxic cleaning products. You can rest assured that the products we use not only clean our salon but are better than those with harsh chemicals with 99.9% of germs killed on contact. Using powerful botanicals that are non-toxic with no harsh fumes and no bleach, simply fresh-smelling cleaners that are gentle and effective.
